Ein Sommer in blau und weiß. Das sollte der heutige Post am Sonntag sein. Doch dann kam alles ganz anders. Nicht um Schlaghosen, Lieblingsteile wie meine Lederjacke und Wedges geht es nun. Sondern darum, warum mich dieser Post zum Weinen gebracht hat. Vor Freude!
TRENDS MIT LIEBLINGSSTÜCKEN KOMBINIEREN Vor jedem Outiftpost steht die Frage: Was ist das Thema? Blau und weiß im Sommer gefiel mit schon Freitagabend als meine Freundin Silvia die Bilder fotografierte. Die Schlaghose ist ja der Star des Outfits. Beim Kombinieren am Freitagabend fiel mir auf, dass ein solch präsentes Trendstück wie die Hose mit hoher Knopfleiste, hohem Bund und ausgestelltem Bein keine anderen Trends neben sich duldet. Wie etwa einen rosafarbene Steppblouson. (Stellt euch ein erstauntes Gesicht vor!)
MIXING TRENDS WITH FAVORITES A summer in white and blue. This is what this post was supposed to be about. To be about flared pants, mixing 70s trends with your favorite items like a leather jacket and wedges to give it a modern feel. But instead working on this post really upset me.
When I talk about an outfit I usually think about the angle. "Blue, white, summer" came to mind when my friend Sylvia and I were taking the pictures. The flared 70s style denims are something like the A-list items of the complete outfit. When getting dressed for Friday night I figured it would not work adding another trends item like a quilted pink bomber with it. No, Ma'm!
HOSE MIT HOHEM BUND UND SICHTBARER KNOPFLEISTE Die Hose ist wunderbar. Mein Traum war es immer, eine Jeans mit Biesennaht zu besitzen. Liebe Beate vom Bahnwärterhäuschen, das bezeichnet die Fachfrau doch so, nicht wahr? Je ruhiger das farbliche Drumherum, desto besser wirkt die starke Hose. (Und bevor jemand Schnappatmung bekommt, weil die Hose Falten schlägt: ich denke, das hält die Welt aus. Ihr wisst ja, ich bin kein Botoxfan. Auch nicht bei Kleidung. #AchtungIronie. So ist das mit Oscar Wilde-Fans. Verdorben fürs Leben.)WARUM ICH DIESE TAILLENHOHE HOSE LIEBE Nicht nur wegen der optischen Beinverlängerung. Meine Mutter hatte schwarze Plateaupumps mit Riemchen. Die habe ich mit meinen kleinen Füßen supergern anprobiert. Und ich erinnere mich, dass in den 70ern die Hose über die Schuhe fiel. Das hat Spaß gemacht. Zeitgemäß wird es jetzt durch die Lederjacke, zuverlässige Begleiterin für jedes Outfit. Außerdem mag ich die aufgesetzten Taschen. Meine schwarze Schlagjeans mit hohem Bund und Knopfleiste hat die auch. WHY I LOVE THOSE HIGH-WAIST PANTS The pants with cording I have been looking for for ages. The more subtle the color mix, the more center stage the denims. And I love the patched pockets. The style prolongates the legs like big time, don't you think? My mother used to wear such pants with her black platforms. And I always wanted to try them on! ( I just cannot imagine anyone of you lovely ladies going to start nagging about the wrinkling fabric. Otherwise I would have to refer you to my best buddy Oscar Wilde.:))
ZURÜCK IN DIE 70ER UND DER STIL VON ABBA
Und für dasmaritime Gefühl mal ganz anders sorgte die Farbkombination weiß und hellblau. Mit dem kräftigen Farbtupfer der Tasche. Die Tasche ist keine Chloé. Oh, welch Frevel. Welch Vergehen. Wenn sich nur Kreti und Plethi alles leisten kann, was die Labelliebhaberinnen so teuer bezahlen.
Wo soll das nur noch alles hinführen in der Welt? Ihr seht, ich bin ganz sicher ein Snob, wenn es um korrekte Sprache (Deutsch oder Englisch) geht. Oder auch um den inneren Reichtum, den Bildung schafft.
Auch bin ich sehr für den Schutz des geistigen Eigentums, der in Zeiten des Internets ja abgeschafft scheint. Aber bei Luxusmarken ist das für mich eher eine wirtschaftspolitische Frage. Its was supposed to be about summer. About that nautical feel in white and blue. Making a statement with that navy blue Chloé-inspired tote. Yes, its a replica. Do you think there is anything wrong in designing being redone, so to speak? Well, if you do, I am afraid, I cannot follow you there. Sorry, to rain on your parade of total exclusiveness.

Als ich anfing den Post vorzubereiten, -seid ihr noch da? Gut! - fielen mir nicht nur die 70er ein. Sondern auch Abba. Dass ich ein total wahnsinniger Fan war/bin, hatte Hatte ja schon erzählt. Ich mag alles an Abba: Mode der 70er, Kleidung, die Songs. Das war sogar dem Stern ein Sonderheft Wert."ABBA und die Mode der 70er". Und während ich so auf You Tube nach einem Abba-Video für modische Beispiel recherchierte, sah ich es: zwei Videos über das 50-Jährige Jubiläum von Abbas erstem Aufeinandertreffen!

So then I started doing my research for this post, looking on youtube for some videos about Abba and their style. I am a total sucker for their 70s style, their pirate pants, cropped tops, flared pants, songs, platforms-the whole Enchilada!
You know, ever since their split, fans all over the world had been waiting and desperately longing for a reunion. And there they were: in June two month ago, on stage in London. Singing and celebrating their 50th anniversary. See link above. The quality of the video is poor. But who cares? Those voices again. Together!

Und diese wunderschönen Stimmen beim Singen zuzuhören, hat mich emotional total unerwartet überwältigt. Deshalb ist dieser Post also kein "Wie kombiniere ich eine trendige weite Hose mit meinen Lieblingsteilen" wie ursprünglich geplant. Sondern einfach ein Tagebucheintrag über Abba und das Video und die Reunion. Schöne Erinnerungen aus den 70er. Und welche Glücksgefühle, geliebte Songs auch nach vielen Jahren auslösen können.
